Turkey watches clashes in Idlib

On Thursday, the Arab newspapers touched upon the situations in Syrian, especially in Idlib where the Turkish occupation army is existed.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: A truce between Tahrir al-Sham (al-Sham Liberation) and al-Jabha al-Wataniya (the National Front) in Hama and Idlib

On the Syrian issue, al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper tackled the situation of Idlib and the clashes among the Turkish mercenaries, and said, "Hayet Tahrir al-Sham and al-Jabha al-Wataniya in Idlib governorate signed an agreement that provides for a cease-fire, removing the alert status immediately and consolidating the status quo just the way it is."

An official in Idlib's Free Army criticized an agreement held between the two sides and he said to the German news agency, "This is not the last agreement between Ahrar al-Sham and Hayet Tahrir al-Sham. I think that the fighting will return between the two sides before the ink of the agreement dries up because Hayet Tahrir al-Sham does not accept the existence of other faction. We will return days later to the same scenario."

The official criticized the Turkish role in the areas controlled by the opposition saying, "The Turkish surveillance points are watching the clashes between the factions and Hayet Tahrir al-Sham amid the displacement of the people. Turkey is watching the factions' conflicts without interference."

Al-Quds al-Arabi: US Intelligence: Al-Assad regime fabricated the attack with chlorine gaz on Aleppo

Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper reported on Wednesday that the US Intelligence concluded that the attack using chlorine, which the Syrian regime claimed that it was carried out by the opposition in Aleppo a period ago, was a fake attack arranged by al-Assad regime.

The conclusion, which is suggested to be published in the coming hours, made clear that the attack was not launched with chlorine gas, but tear-gas.

The American Intelligence relied on several pieces of evidence, among them the media coverage of the attack by Russia and regime's media outlets, taking a long time after the incident to show a consistent story. Reports stated that the bombardment was caused by chlorine-filled missiles, while other media outlets stated that it was caused by mortars. In addition, the technical analysis of the videos and photos published by the Russian media outlets of the remnants of munitions used in the attack made clear that they are not suitable for carrying chlorine gas.
