Politicians: Kurdish rank unity guarantees protection of gains

The gains of the Kurdish people in all parts of Kurdistan are being subjected to attacks by the occupied countries, particularly the Turkish state, which needs to strength the popular and political circles based on strengthening unity and reaching a common strategy of struggle.

Secretary General of the Kurdistan Communist Party and member of the Kurdistan National Congress Nejem al-Din Mullah Omar spoke to ANHA agency about the importance and necessity of holding the Kurdish National Congress, and said that holding such a congress will be a guarantee for resolving the issue of the Kurdish people. "All the peoples of the world during their revolutions in history could not stand only after standing together, in the case of the struggle against injustice and oppression we must put internal differences aside, and this is what we must do, we must not let our simple problems impede and weaken the unity of our ranks as Kurdish parties.

The unity of the Kurdish rank is necessary

Omar added we are suffering from division, weakness and non-unification of opinions. We have undergone thousands of experiences through the history of our struggle. Now it is necessary to make a decision to unify the ranks because the enemy has exhausted people by war, and the consequences of the war: migration, homelessness and hunger, so we cannot stand idly by these violations."

Some parties prefer their interests to the interests of the people

Omar said it is regrettable that some Kurdish parties prefer their own interests to the interests of the people, and the main reason for not holding the Kurdish National Congress is different positions and views of political parties.

Kurdish unity is guarantee of protection of gains

Dr. Shafiq Ibrahim, secretary of the Patriotic Party of Kurdistan said that The Kurdish people have suffered more from injustice, oppression and deprivation of their rights throughout history, referring to the injustice and oppression suffered by the Kurdish people, under the control of the dictatorial regimes, which can be called local colonization, and until today the conflict continues and since that time the Kurdish people have suffered persecution and massacres.

After the revolutions of the Arab Spring in 2011, the spring of all peoples, our people managed to achieve the Democratic Autonomous Administration project in Rojava. Today, we can say that two parts of Kurdistan are free, so we cannot protect the gains of our people if we do not unite, and do not have one political representation in international forums."

Ibrahim stressed the importance of holding the Kurdish National Congress,

“We need to reassemble our forces all over Kurdistan, and call on all Kurdish forces and parties to support the Kurdish National Congress so that we can support and protect the gains of Rojava Revolution.

Ibrahim during his talk noted that the Middle East is undergoing radical changes and that the Kurdish people are subjected to attempts of demographic change by the Turkish occupation, and called on all Kurdish parties in all parts of Kurdistan to unite ranks and confront the Turkish and Iranian aggression.
