Distribution of wheat seeds to farmers continues in Deir ez-Zor

The Agriculture Committee of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council has distributed 686 tons of wheat seeds to the farmers in order to improve the agricultural sector in the east and west of the countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The distribution is still ongoing.

Under the agricultural plan to support the agricultural sector, the Agriculture Committee in Deir ez-Zor distributes wheat seeds to the farmers at affordable prices for the farmers.

The Agriculture Committee has received 40 tons in the third batch of sterile seeds, and is now distributing them to farmers at 165 SP. The distribution process is still ongoing within the agricultural plan.

The co-chair of the Agriculture Committee Muhammad Aziz said, "We have been distributing since the beginning of autumn and 686 tons of wheat seeds have been distributed to farmers, divided into four batches, the first batch included 500 tons, the second of 146 tons and the third of 40 tons."
