Commemoration of struggler Shilan, her comrades in Lebanon

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) has organized a meeting in the Lebanese capital of Beirut in conjunction with the anniversary of the martyrdom of the struggler Shilan and her comrades.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of Newroz Cultural and Social Association, was attended by dozens of members of the Kurdish community in Beirut.

The administrator of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Abdul Salam Ahmed spoke during the meeting and commemorated at the beginning the martyr Shilan and all the martyrs of the revolution.

Abdel Salam Ahmed also spoke about the life and struggle of the struggler Shilan and said that the gains and victories achieved by the Kurdish women are the product of the legacy and resistance of the martyr Shilan and her comrades.

During his speech, Ahmed also touched upon the overall political and field developments in Syria in general and North Syria in particular.

The meeting also included a short film on the life and struggle of Shilan and her comrades.

The meeting ended with chanting slogans that salute the martyrs.
