Omar Jafar: "Turkey" occupation state seeks to control Syrian territory

Hawar news agency met with a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria Omar Jafar to talk about the repeated Turkish violations on North Syria.

Jafar said that since the beginning of the events in Syria, the Progressive Democratic Party has viewed the Turkish government as "an occupied and colonial state and is trying to control the entire Syrian territory."

He said in this regard "The Turkish occupation is living in a state of fear and panic over the Kurdish issue and the establishment of a Kurdish entity on its historic soil, the thing which caused to create a situation of instability in the area and bombing of populated areas, "also he pointed out that the Turkish occupation will pay the tax of these aggressive behavior in the area, especially towards the Kurdish people sooner or later."

He added "The Kurdish people must unite their ranks and work for the interests of their people, and unfortunately every current move in accordance with their personal interests. Some Kurdish figures get a handful of dollars and sit in the bosom of the Turkish occupation against the interests of their people in exchange for their personal interests, but the Turkish occupation exploits these figures to discredit the reputation of the movements and parties that advocate a just solution to the Kurdish issue, so we must unite our ranks to put pressure on the Turkish occupier.

Jafar continued "Democratic Progressive Party in Syria suggested the formation of a reference to the Kurds to be representative of the Kurdish people in international forums, but parties in Basur Kurdistan region have failed this proposal."
