Al-Buasaf tribe's elder: We are ready in every way to defend our lands

Sheikh Obeid al-Hasan, the elder of the al-Buasaf tribe has presented a declaration during an interview with Hawar news agency about the Turkish attacks against North Syria.

He said "We told SDF leadership that we are ready in every way to defend our territory, which was liberated by the blood of our martyrs against any brutal Turkish aggression,"

Al-Hasan added "The tribes in the area have the strength to counter any aggression that affects our areas, and our people are now fighting in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces in Deir ez-Zor against IS, and we, as tribes will be the first to confront the Turkish occupation if they try to enter our territory."

Al-Hasan pointed out to the recent Turkish violations, he said "Turkey's goal of targeting journalists is to blur the truth to mislead public opinion completely and to hide its crimes against the Syrian people. We, as elders and dignitaries of the area's tribes will not forget the blood of our people, we will take revenge.

Sheikh Obeid al-Hasan called on the Turkish state to stop its threats and attacks against the Syrian territories, saying that "the destruction that has destroyed our country is enough for Syria, and we want to stabilize.
