Non-implementation of Idlib deal leads to military operation

With the lack of implementation of Idlib agreement held between Russia and Turkey, Moscow could be obliged to launch a military operation in that area, especially with the continuous violation of the agreement between the mercenary gangs and the regime forces.

The Arab presses that were issued on Monday touched upon the situations of the demilitarized zone in Idlib and the denial of the accusations of killing the civilians by the Global Coalition.

Al-Arab: The slowness to implement Idlib deal enrages Russia

On the Syrian issue, al-Arab newspaper touched upon Sochi agreement on Idlib, and it said, "Russia adheres to the so-called strategic patience policy towards the very slow implementation of Idlib agreement, but observers believe that Moscow may eventually be obliged to change its policy and launch military steps.

Observers consider that the meeting that would be held in Istanbul on Monday between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Turkish President Receb Teyyib Erdogan would discuss this issue, and Putin may demand Ankara to put more pressure on the militant factions to exit them from the demilitarized zone in Idlib.

Observers believe that the Syrian regime and its ally Iran may find in the procrastination of the militant gangs to withdraw from the area a pretext to undermine Idlib agreement, where the two sides seemed to be unsatisfied with it which was translated in their frequent violations of the recent cease-fire.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: Coalition accuses other forces to kill civilians east of Syria

Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper reported that the International Coalition denied the killing of civilians in the bombardment of IS' last stronghold. The newspaper quoted from the American envoy to the International Coalition against IS organization Brett McGurk on Sunday saying that the reports about killing civilians by the strikes of the Coalition are invalid. While the Coalition denied that the strikes that targeted the last pocket under the control of IS in eastern of Syria has killed civilians, accusing other forces in the region, in an indication to the regime forces.

McGourke said on Twitter, "All other forces must stop shooting fire in an uncoordinated manner across the river immediately," in an indication to the regime forces and its allies on the western banks of the Euphrates.
