Dêrik bids farewell Ronya , Zinar martyrs

In solemn ceremonies, thousands of Dêrik area and its districts bid farewell two martyrs corpses of YPG and YPJ to their last resting place at "the Martyr Xebat Dêrik Shrine."

Thousands of people gathered outside the Hogir Hospital in Dêrik, raising pictures of the martyrs and the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, to attend the funeral of the two martyrs who were martyred in al-Jazeera Tempest campaign.

The funeral ceremony was attended by residents of Dêrik region and its district, and representatives of Democratic Autonomous Administration, civil institutions and political parties.

After the arrival of the funeral procession to Dêrik, it toured the main streets of the city headed towards the shrine.

When the mourners arrived at the shrine, hundreds of fighters of the People's and Women's Protection Units and the Self-Defense Forces performed a military parade. Then the commander of the YPJ, Nujan Khirki, offered condolences to the families of the martyrs and all peoples in northern and eastern Syria and delivered a speech in which she pledged to march on the path of martyrs in defense of human values against all occupiers and colonists."
