SDC: We have practical plans to support dialogues in near future

The talk of Amjad Othman came in an interview conducted by Hawar news agency, commenting on the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Council to contribute to resolve the Syrian crisis.

Othman said "We seek to hold dialogues in the near future, and the importance of these meetings is that they are trying to find solution to the crisis away from the external agendas and on the territory of Syria,"

He added: "The Syrian Democratic Council, since its founding, seeks to lay the foundations for a Syrian-Syrian dialogue, and the Council has several stages, the latest of which was the Syrian-Syrian dialogue after the third founding conference of the Syrian Democratic Council. The dialogue will be the basis of any future solution in Syria and the Syrian Democratic Council will hold like these dialogues and sponsors and supports any step established for any Syrian-Syrian dialogue internally. "

He pointed out that "the initiative of the Syrian Democratic Council comes within the conviction we have to involve all the Syrian parties in the process of dialogue to diagnose the crisis accurately and try to identify solutions jointly."

"The problem is not in the place in which the meetings have been hold, but it lies in holding them to implement specific agendas and under the influence of bodies and agendas that do not serve the interests of the Syrians," Amjad said.

He added "The dialogue which is been hold inside the homeland will be far from the external agendas, and we see that the conditions for holding such dialogues and in the areas of Autonomous Administration is appropriate, as we can host such dialogues and host all parties who wish to be partners in this dialogue."

Amjad Othman believes that "dialogues are the way to solve the problem and resolve any crisis, no doubt that the forums and dialogues make us closer to solve the problem and salvation from the current crisis and there is no way to be solved only by dialogue."

According to the official spokesman, the Syrian Democratic Council seeks and has plans in the near future to support more dialogue forums on the Syrian territory.
