Al-Abed: Turkish occupation tries to relieve pressure on IS, we to repel it

The member of the General Coordination in the Euphrates region Hamdan al-Abed said that the Turkish army's attacks on the eastern areas of the Euphrates attempt to relieve the pressure on Daesh in Deir-ez-Zor, and give assurances to the terrorist gangs in Idlib, stressing that they will confront the violations of the occupation.

Hamdan al-Abed, the former co-chair of Autonomous Administration Council in Girê Spî / Tel Abyed and the member of the General Coordination of the Euphrates region, said in a statement to ANHA that the Turkish attacks that have recently targeted Kobanî and Girê Spî / Tel-Abyed 's areas which were bombed on Tuesday night and resulted in martyring a fighter of the Self-Defense Forces and wounding another.

"The statement issued by Erdogan about the area of east of the Euphrates is an attempt to relieve the pressure on Daesh in Deir-ez-Zor countryside," Hamdan al-Abed said.

"The bombing of the eastern Euphrates areas is only to give assurances to the terrorist gangs in Idlib. This situation put Turkey in front of options regarding the cease-fire in Idlib; the fighting with Jabhet al-Nusra or the battle with Russia and Ankara does not want this. All these make Turkey heading towards the east of the Euphrates and this is a challenge for the Coalition and American Forces," he said.

Al-Hamdan said that they will repel the Turkish occupation's violations and they are waiting for reactions from the International Coalition and USA towards the Turkish polity.
