Financial assistance provided to Ain Issa camp's refugees

The aid comes in response to the difficult material conditions experienced by the displaced people inside the camp, the difficulty of securing foodstuffs after the kitchen has stopped working and the organizations' inaction to support them. This installment coincides with the onset of winter and the lack of employment opportunities in this season compared to summer.

The camp administration coordinated with one of the organizations operating in the camp to provide financial assistance to the displaced.

The administration has taken a specific strategy to distribute aid to the displaced persons according to the family members. So that, the family of two persons is delivered 7,000 SP, the family of 3 to 7 people 20,900 and the family of 8 persons and above 27,000 SP.

The number of the displaced in Ain Issa camp is about 13,000, divided into 2,400 families.

In this regard, the administrator of Ain Issa camp Jalal al-Ayyaf said that this batch came to help the displaced people inside the camp because of the lack of food assistance provided to the displaced and limited to a monthly food basket provided by al-Mawada Organization which is not enough for their food needs.

Al-Ayyaf appealed to the humanitarian organizations to provide winter supplies to the camp residents of Ain Issa: blankets, heaters and winter clothes.

Material assistance is the first installment. Distribution is planned for three months. Each installment is distributed in one month.
