The Internal Security Forces media center in al-Raqqa confirmed that members of the Internal Security Forces Explosive Disposal teams on Tuesday October16 managed to dismantle an explosive device that was intended to detonate with a car of a civilian in al-Sina neighborhood, east of al-Raqqa city.

According to the supervisor of Explosive Disposal teams that the process of dismantling the device was carried out easily, after the arrival of a report to the Internal Security Forces in the mentioned neighborhood of al-Mashlab next by the owner of a van, who confirmed the existence of a device connected to a remote control under his car that they were stationed for several days in al-Sina neighborhood to repair them. The team quickly took the necessary precautions and managed to remove them successfully.

In another context, the Internal Security Forces dismantled three antipersonnel mines placed in an empty barrel in al-Heneida village in al-Mansoura countryside, reported by one of the citizens, as well as the dismantling of a landmine on an agricultural land in al-Sahlabiya area of al-Tabqa city.

The Internal Security Forces continues its work by securing civilian sites where civilians live by removing the remnants of mines and explosives.
