Hassen: If regime is serious to dialogue, it must express rationality language , not threat

The speech of PYD's co-chair Shahouz Hassen came during a meeting held by the party in the center of Aram Tikran in Rumailan town of Girgê Legê district to the families of the martyrs to discuss and debate on the latest political developments on the Syrian arena.

At the beginning of his speech, Shahuz Hassen pointed to the harsh isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and noted, "The ideas put forward by Ocalan are the basis for the freedom of the peoples of the Middle East, especially within Syria, Ocalan sought to consolidate the concept of a democratic nation that achieves freedom, justice and equality among all peoples. And the implementation of this project in Rojava and northern Syria is disturbing the Turkish occupation and authoritarian regimes in the region, so the imposition of severe isolation on Ocalan at this stage is an attempt to break the communication between Ocalan and the people revolted for freedom, and an attempt to thwart the democratic project . So it is obligatory on us today to work more to consolidate the principle of the democratic nation and the thwart the international conspiracy and isolation on Ocalan and the achievement of freedom and equality for all peoples of the region.

He noted that the Syrian regime is still adhering to its mentality and its authoritarian methods of rejecting others and diversity, and resorting to the language of threat that will not benefit anything. This language will not reach any solutions to end the suffering of the Syrian people. We are ready for dialogue with all transparency to reach a democratic political solution that satisfies everyone.

Shahuz Hassan stressed that Turkey is trying to aggravate the situation in Syria and to prevent the success of any dialogue to resolve the Syrian crisis and try to create a state of conflict between the Kurds and Arabs to increase the rift among the Syrian people, so pushed its mercenary to fight the Kurdish people in all areas of Rojava and northern Syria .

He added "Syria has been subjected to a Third World War and we are in the midst of this crisis and conflict. "

The meeting ended by explaining the goals of the Democratic Union Party and announcing the families of the martyrs to join the Democratic Union Party and adopt its principles and ideas.
