Claudia Lucas: Erdogan does not appeal to German people

A delegation of International Peace Mothers visited Rojava and visited many of the cities and regions of Rojava. The delegation included mothers from various European countries, including members of the German delegation Claudia Lucas. In this regard, ANHA agency met with Claudia, who pointed out that Erdogan is not welcome in Germany because of his practices against the Kurdish people and occupation of Afrin city and displacing its people.

Claudia pointed out that the reason for their visit was to learn about the revolution of women in Rojava and to learn about the reality of the people of Afrin after they were forcibly displaced from their homes as a result of the Turkish occupation.

Claudia touched upon the practices followed by Erdogan and his support for terrorist gangs fighting the people, under international silence, "the international community and regional powers are silent about Erdogan's practices against the people of northern Syria."

She noted that German people are aware of the sacrifices made by the Kurdish people to get their freedom, she added,"

We have good relations with the Kurdish people in Germany, and we are aware of the enormous sacrifices made by the Kurdish people to get their freedom, so Erdogan is not welcomed by a large segment of the German people."

She said that the German government has received Erdogan recently, but this visit was rejected by the German people and the government which received a fascist hostile to the people and its freedom was strongly criticized."

Claudia pointed out that they are communicating with politicians in Germany in order to stand by the Kurdish people and limit Erdogan's policy.

At the end of her speech, Claudia said that as a German people, especially women will escalate their struggle until the Turkish occupation state ceases its hostile policy to the Kurdish people.

It is worth mentioning that the delegation of the International Peace Mothers had completed their visit to Rojava and promised to convey the reality of the women's revolution to all international forums.
