International Peace Mothers joined "Women, Revolt for Afrin" campaign

The statement was read at the Women Free Square in Kobanî city by the member of the International Peace Mothers delegation Anna Maria in the presence of dozens of women in Kobanî city.

The text of the statement included,

“The Syrian regime, the Turkish state and all the forces of imperialism do everything to prevent us from reaching each other. They want to undermine your power to stop the struggle, but you are not alone. We came today to show you that we stand with you. Together, we will continue to fight and be one hand in the face of fascism, exploitation and tyranny.

When you started the struggle and asked for freedom, we looked at you with joy. When Afrin was bombarded with warplanes, shells and tanks, we revolted every day in the streets with our Kurdish comrades who spread throughout Europe and we reached your voices to the public opinion. We condemned all the imperialist governments in our countries who worked for their interests against Afrin. Hand in hand, we struggled against fascism by holding arms in the demonstrations. Rojava is important to us. You give us hope for the free women's society. Rojava is our point of view and we will all struggle for common goals in an international way.

For years, we have been monitoring Rojava experience and its new social organization. We look forward to your strong opinions and plans that protect your revolution, the women's revolution. In all places, women fight on the front lines against the male authority, capitalism and the reactionary forces.

Rojava Revolution is the path of freedom, and this is illustrated to the world by the thousands of people of Rojava who went to Afrin to confront the Turkish occupation.

This battle has not ended, and we will struggle together. Once again, we demand and call on all women of the world to join "Women, Revolt for Afrin" campaign to resist violence and persecution everywhere. We hope to live freely and we will continue struggling till Afrin would be liberated and its people would return to it. We will continue our campaign and activities in every places and streets.
