People of border villages: Why this silence about violations of Turkish occupation army?

The Turkish occupation army stationed at military points along the northern border between northern Syria and Bakur is targeting Kobanî villages and Tal Abyad, which is adjacent to the border almost daily which endangering the lives of civilians.

Over the past two years, violations and attacks by the Turkish state against the residents of the Euphrates region villages along the border have increased. Turkish attacks resulted in the loss of dozens of lives, in addition to the Turkish invasion of the territory of the region by tens of meters and the uprooting of thousands of fruit trees belonging to the people to build a concrete wall on the border.

Recently, Turkish soldiers stationed at the border have periodically targeted villages on the border with heavy and light weapons, with the aim of destabilizing the area.

On the current September 23, the Turkish army targeted Bassel Khalaf al-Ali while he was working in front of his house in al-Munbateh village. Before that, it targeted the village of Kharab Kurt in Qamishlo, the child Abdullah Barzan, who was caring for his sheep, was injured and his health worsened as a result of this violations.

Earlier, on last August 12, the Turkish army targeted al-Munbateh village and injured Ahmed Ismail Shahin while he working on his farmland. On the same day, he targeted al-Yabisa village, west of Tal Abyad.

Recently, the Turkish army targeted the school of Susk village west of Tal Abyad on the first day of its opening with live bullets. Then it targeted the villages of Gharib and Karabnav, which are located 15 km east of Kobanî, resulting in material damage to civilian homes on the 18th of this month.

Two days ago, the Turkish army targeted Qara Mugh village, which is always targeted and has about 300 houses a few meters from the border.

    Farida Mahmoud, one of the women of Qara Mugh village, said that the Turkish occupation army is targeting the village almost daily, they cannot move safely in their village for fear of shooting at them at any moment, and that the villagers cannot approach their agricultural land near the border.

Farida appealed to the concerned parties to put an end to the attacks of Turkey, asking "why this silence towards all these violations."

While the citizen Mahmoud Nasan says," several days ago, when I was passing by Karabnav village, the Turks fired live bullets and targeted me."

70-year-old Eslim Murad woman explains that when she was sitting in front of her house, the village was fired from the Turkish side.

 She added, "now we cannot sit in front of our house for fear of bullets that threatens our lives."

According to the area's officials, the Turkish occupation is targeting of the border villages on a daily basis is a form of Turkish psychological warfare against the region, aimed at destabilizing them and creating panic among the population and displacing them.
