HPG: 6 Turkish soldiers killed in Ider

HPG’s media center released a statement revealing the results of their fighters' operations in both Ider and Şirnex, and revealed the record of a fighter who was martyred in Şirnex.

The statement said,

"Our forces carried out a military operation on September 11 at 10:30 against the Turkish occupation army stationed on Vacîp and Serbend hill in Qileban district, and our forces were able to dealt heavy blows to the enemy forces. It was unclear the number of the killed and wounded. The Turkish occupation shelled Pisaxa valley, Xantûr and Partîzan with mortars and artillery. The bombardment resulted in breaking out fire in the area.

We have previously announced in the framework of the revolutionary campaign that was launched in Serhrd state on September 11, at 7:40, our forces carried out a military operation against an armored vehicle of the Turkish occupation army in Dîlûcû Square. Our fighters managed to destroy the vehicle entirely. According to the information received, six Turkish soldiers on the vehicle were killed.

Disclosing 1 martyr's record in Şirnex

In the statement issued on September 3, 2018, we announced that the Turkish occupation army, with the support of air strikes, launched a large-scale military operation in August 11, 2018 in Barin area and Qileban district in Şirnex.

And the bombing of the Turkish occupation army supported by drones, warplanes and helicopters continued in the area. As a result of the shelling, 3 of our comrades were martyred among them our companion Şoreş after we had lost contact with him.
