Symposium about breast cancer held in al-Tabqa

The symposium was held in the meeting hall of the Democratic Civil Administration building of al-Tabqa, in the presence of a number of women from institutions, departments, civil councils, Internal Security Forces for Women and a number of women in the city.

During the previous periods, there were several cases of breast cancer in al-Tabqa exceeded the 15 cases, some of them exceeded the third degree without the knowledge of women infected with the disease because of the lack of awareness among women in the region of this disease and the lack of early detection.

At the beginning of the symposium, the co-chair of the Health Committee Nouras Ibrahim clarified the causes of women's breast cancer which is due to heredity and its dangerous role in the spread of the disease through genetic defect in the breast and the possibility of transmission of the disease from mothers to girls,

One of the causes of breast cancer is also women taking pills that affect the body of women, especially during the period of early menstruation and the girl's physiological changes, not to mention hormones in some treatments used, especially in the intake of some foods and fast food.

She also confirmed that there are several cases of loss of life due to breast cancer, due to the neglect of women to see the specialist and the lack of periodic examinations necessary, especially in the post-natal and lactation.

At the end of the symposium, she answered the participants' questions about cancer, how it was known and why it happened. She advised all women to share this information with all the women who are close and help them prevent this dangerous disease.
