Afrin women : Syrian women should solidarity to protect their gains

The killings and kidnappings of women in Afrin occupied by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are increasing day after day, following the heroic positions of the Afrin women in confronting the attacks of the Turkish occupation. Since the first day of these attacks, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries showed their intention and moral decline through aggression and representation of a fighter corpse that refused to submission to them. After occupaying , the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries did not stop these practices. The cases of kidnapping and rape of many women were documented.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with a number of women members of women's organizations and civil institutions who have indicated that the current phase requires the unification of all women to defeat terrorism.

Member of coordinator of Kongra Satr Hefei Suleiman pointed out that the capitalistic and authoritarian regimes through the imposition of minds want to create a society according to the tyrannical ideas built on it as does the Turkish occupation army in Afrin.

And added  during her speech saying "These practices committed by the Turkish occupation army and the support of mercenary gangs inside Afrin and other Syrian territories violate human rights and international covenants. Therefore, the concerned authorities should intervene quickly and save the status quo

In her turn, administror of Women 'sCommittee in Afrin canton 'scouncil Sherine Hassan said that the increase in kidnappings, rape, murder and other immoral practices against Afrin women is proof of the fear of the Turkish state and its mercenaries of women's organization and will .They demonstrate their opposition to women's freedom and their major role in the society

The administrator committee of the Diplomatic Committee of the Union of Yezidis Coli Jafar recalled the suffering experienced by the Yazidi women by IS mercenaries supported by the Turkish occupation.

Coli has regretted the situation of the women of Afrin after the Turkish occupation of their lands, where time has returned to the pre-Islamic times. Women can not go out and walk in the streets and do not play their role in social and political life, moreover and all this is subjected to the worst forms of violence and immoral practices.

She concluded her speech by stressing that the stage of the Syrian crisis requires women to gather under one banner to protect women and their gains, and that the high proportion of cases of abuse and killing of women by the Turkish occupation army in occupied Afrin refers to the bankruptcy of the Turkish state policy.
