Abu Araj: Turkey trying to convince factions fight al-Nusra, reconcile with regime

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Jaish al-Thuwar Forces  Ahmed al-Sultan called Abu Araj said that Russia, Turkey and Iran will work at the summit that will join them together in Tehran, to convince the mercenary factions in Idlib to reconcile with the Syrian regime, and pointing guns at mercenaries of Hayat Tharir al-Sham.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held interview with Ahmed al-Sultan Abu Arraj talking about the summit which would be held in Tehran by Russia, Iran and Turkey on 7 September, many issues would be discussed including the Syrian crisis.

Abu Arraj said at the beginning of his speech said, "Idlib has become the concern of all countries of the world," describing it as an important city and that it is inhabited by about 3 million people.”

Abu Araj added saying, "The regime is launching an offensive against Idlib which might be the final stages on the Syrian file, it might also generate an unprecedented humanitarian disaster in history," he said. "Idlib is considered a great human reservoir, so civilians should be saved this war."

On the Tehran summit, Abu Araj said that all eyes were set on Tehran. "Before that, the Turkish state called on the leaders of the mercenary factions to meet in Ankara to reach an agreement. The Turkish side will transfer what has been agreed between it and the factions to the summit.

Abu Arraj confirmed that Russia and Turkey will persuade the mercenary factions in Idlib to reconcile with the Syrian regime, "As in many other areas, under the pretext of keeping the people away from the threat of war. I think the first discussion at the summit will be to convince the factions to reconcile with the Syrian regime as well as support the regime’s attacks on Jabhit al-Nusra."

Abu Arraj ended his speech saying "The area must first be cleared of terrorist gangs, a cease-fire, no-fly zone imposed in Syria, as well as initiating a political solution and a transitional phase to stabilize Syria."
