And after the occupation of the Turkish army to Afrin, Turkey began a retaliatory process against the people who resisted for more than 56 days, and still continue to resist so far under the second phase through special operations, where the occupation destroyed the martyrs shrines and tombs of the people of Afrin, and stole all the archaeological artifacts and destroyed most of the monuments in Afrin as the castle of the Prophet Hori and Aindar and others.

The people of the al-Jazeera region condemned the practices of Turkey against the peoples of the area, especially the people of Afrin, and considered that the attack on Afrin is attack on human values ​​and ancient peoples, they appealed to all the Syrian people to face the Turkish aggression against the Syrian territory.

Majdal al-Zaher of the Arab component condemned the Turkish occupation of Afrin canton and pointed out that the attack was barbarous and brutal. He said "Erdogan dreams of reviving the Ottoman authority in Syria by obliterating peoples' cultures and changing the demographics of the territories he occupies.”

He said, Afrin is a patch of Syria and all the Syrians must stand together in solidarity with the Afrin and its people and protect its sanctities from destruction.

Turkey steals the heritage of Afrin as stolen heritage of Aleppo

On the destruction of monuments, cemeteries and archaeological, cultural and religious sites in Afrin by the Turkish occupation army, Zaher explained: "This is the objective of Erdogan, his intentions to destroy and torment the peoples of the area, Erdogan's mercenaries destroyed Aleppo city and looted its factories and its monuments to be smuggled to Turkey, today the scene is repeated in Afrin where the archaeological and religious sites and the theft of its holdings, to obliterate the culture and history of the area. "

He appealed to all the people of Syria to defend Afrin and stop in the face of the Turkish occupation. "Just as the Turkish occupation army entered Afrin by force, we will drive them out and force them out," he said.

Turkey sees the monuments of Afrin as a material gain

Ibrahim explained that since the Ottoman era, Turkey has adopted a policy of persecution against the peoples of the area through its occupation operations, destroying and spreading the culture, language, customs and traditions of these peoples, he said "these Turkish acts are contrary to all human values ​​and principles and all international conventions."

Ibrahim said that the Turkish occupation is stealing the identity of the monuments of Afrin area attributing them to themselves, under the name of material gain, and attacks the indigenous people by arresting them and imprisoning them in order to rob their public and private property, he said, "every day there is evidence showing the extent to which these practices are enforced by asking for ransom from the relatives of detainees.

Ibrahim stressed that the people of al-Jazeera region are with the resistance of Afrin to face the Turkish occupation until the realization of the right and the loss of falsehood.
