The Security’s National Administration in Kabul mentioned in a statement that other 10 mercenaries of IS were also killed in a joint ground and air operation carried out by the Afghani and foreign forces.

The operation resulted in the destruction of large quantities of heavy and light weapons and ammunition during the raid operation on IS caches.

Amaq agency of IS did not comment on the report. No response was also received from the NATO-led firm support mission in Afghanistan to train and advise the Afghani forces.

IS consolidated its presence in Nangarhar on the eastern border of Afghanistan with Pakistan and became one of the most dangerous strict gangs in the country.

IS has activated Khurasan state since 2015 and launched attacks on Taliban Movement and the Afghani and US forces.
