2 mercenaries killed in Afrin

The media center of the People Protection Units (YPG) declared that their forces carried out two separated operations in Afrin, during which they managed to kill two mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army as one of them is the official of the checkpoints for Faylaq al-Sham mercenaries, and they seized their weapons.

The media center of YPG released a statement on their official website, in which they disclosed the outcomes of the two operations that were carried out by their forces in the period between 19 and 24 August in Mobata and Bulbul districts in Afrin canton as the two operations resulted in killing 2 mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.

The text of the statement included,

“Within the second stage of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin, our forces carried out two separated operations in the period between 19 and 24 August. During the two operations, the forces targeted the Turkish occupation mercenaries in Mobata and Bulbul districts. The two operations are as the following:

On August 19, our forces ambushed one of the mercenaries of al-Jabha al-Shamiya on the road leading to Mobata district as the mercenary Mohammed Ardowan was killed.

On August 24, our forces ambushed the official of the checkpoints for Faylaq al-Sham mercenaries who is called Khaled al-Taher and nicknamed Abu Mohammed al-Shimaly. During the operation, the mercenary Khaled al-Taher was killed and his weapon was seized.
