Şengali’s comrades fulfilled covenant to revenge

The Yazidis of al-Jazeera region noted that they know who sold them and who protected them from IS mercenaries' attacks during their attacks on Şengal on August 2014, and explained that their women are still sold, and said, "What do the government of Başûr Kurdistan want from the Yazidis?" They also explained that Massoud Barzani and Nejervan are involved in the Martyrdom of Mam Zeki Şengali.

The Yazidi House put up on Sunday a condolence tent to offer condolences to the martyr Mam Zeki Şengali who was martyred on August 15 during a Turkish air strike on his procession while returning from Kujo Martyrs’ memorial ceremony in the village of Qazal Jokh of Amuda district.

Since the morning hours, hundreds of the Yazidi people from ad-Dirbasiya, al-Tabqa, Tirbê Spîyê, al-Hasakah, Serê Kanîyê, and the Democratic Autonomous institutions and the people of al-Jazeera region have come to the condolence tent to offer condolences.

The tent was decorated with the images of the martyr Mam Zeki, the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and the Yazidi House’s flag.

The expressions of anger and sadness were visible on the faces of the arrivals of the tent of condolence, and that indicated how they were affected by the martyrdom of the commander Mam Zeki Şengali.

In the condolence tent, the member of Amuda District Council Mohammed Abdel Qader delivered a speech and offered condolences on behalf of the council and all the martyrs' families in the region to the relatives of martyr Zeki Şengali and all the Kurdish people.

He pointed out that these attacks will not discourage the Yazidi and Kurdish people from their struggle.

A number of Yazidis of al-Jazeera region during the ceremony expressed their indignation about the attack launched by the Turkish occupation army on the convoy of Mam Zeki Şengali during its return from the ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of Kujo village.

Qedifa Khelef noted, "Our enemies must know that the Yazidi people will not be subjected to them. There are thousands, like the martyr Zeki Şengali, who are ready to protect Şengal and its mountains. The comrades of the martyr Mam Zeki Şengali pledged to revenge and they fulfilled the covenant as they killed 19 soldiers from the Turkish occupation army on Saturday."
