Qandil: SDC, regime’s dialogue is strategic intelligence, slap for Erdogan

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held a special interview with the Lebanese parliamentarian and journalist Nasser Qandil on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of his book "Philosophy of Power" held at the Assad Library in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on the meetings between the Syrian Democratic Council and the Syrian regime.

Qandil expressed his support for these meetings between the Syrian Democratic Council and the Syrian regime, saying it was "a smart step that reflects the spirit of responsibility and I am optimistic about the success of these consultations and meetings."

Qandil added, "We have to say with all responsibility and conscience that the Kurdish leadership's choice of dialogue with the Syrian regime reflects the national responsibility and reflects the strategic intelligence in front of the stupidity of the Turkish President Erdogan."

"I believe that the success of this negotiation - God willing in the way of success- will give a strong blow to the Ottoman dreams and delusions to resurrect the sultanate, which wants to justify the truncation of part of the Syrian territory and occupation under pretext of fear of a Kurdish separatist entity in North Syria."

"The return of relations between the Kurds and the Syrian regime and their partnership in shaping this state and its contents is the most important step they can take towards liberating Syrian territory from the Turkish occupation," Nasser Qandil concluded.
