Al-Qaftan: Committees which task to read administration systems formed

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held an interview with the head of the Future Syria Party Ibrahim al-Qaftan about their meeting with the delegation of the Syrian regime last week and what will be worked on in the current period and the possibility of continuing these meetings.

During his speech, al-Qaftan said, "We asked for seriousness in talking with the delegation of the regime who we had met in Damascus, but we cannot judge from now. The outcome will be manifested by the committees that were formed and its acceptance on the participants’ side. We cannot predict anything, but in principle, we asked for seriousness. "

Al-Qaftan pointed to the formation of committees to "read the Autonomous Administration system applied in the north and east of Syria, and the system of local administration of the Syrian regime, which includes Law 107, as well as the mechanism of decentralization on this subject."

The solution springs from Syria by intra-Syrian dialogue

As for the meetings held abroad, especially the Astana meeting in its 10th tour in Sochi on July 30 and 31, al-Qaftan said, "We do not count on the outcomes of Geneva, Sochi, Astana, al-Riyadh or other platforms, which are the problem in Syria, and there will be no solution except by intra-Syrian dialogue.”

On the possibility of holding other meetings with the Syrian regime, he explained, "After the formation of the committees, which will be a preliminary product and goodwill sign, other meetings with other topics that serve all Syrians, resolve the crisis, and stop Syrian bloodshed will be scheduled."

It is worth mentioning that on 26 July, the Syrian regime invited the Syrian Democratic Council and political figures from the Syrian north to Damascus to discuss the future of the country.
