Aram Tîkran Center…Summer courses to develop children's talents

Aram Tîgran center located in Rimêlan town at Girkê Legê district continues its normal activities, the center has a number of artistic groups, both in the field of singing, drama or folk dance. As well as the continued development of children's talents during the summer vacation.

Summer courses to develop the children's talents

With the start of summer and the end of the academic year, Aram Tîkran center announced the opening of free courses for teaching singing, drama and folkloric dance.

The center's officials stressed that the aim of these courses is to allow children and young people to benefit from the summer holidays as well as to develop their artistic talents, noting that summer courses combine education, talent development and entertainment for children.

This year, about 90 children joined the summer courses between the ages of 4 and 13, whom were divided into a number of classes, such as teaching musical instruments, singing lessons, learning folk dance and describing theater education.

The educational classes are supervised by specialized trainers in the technical fields.

The girl Isra from the Arab component joined the singing class and Kurdish folklore

Among the children participating in summer session is Isra, an Arab girl who said that her love for Kurdish music and folklore has led her to participate in these courses, Isra has been involved in singing for two years, as well as in folk dance, because of her desire to continue learning, she also participates in courses during the semester.

Preparation to participate in Child's Art Festival

In addition to summer courses, the center is preparing to participate in the fourth Child’s Art Festival, which is held annually under the auspices of Culture and Art Movement and Culture and Art Body in al-Jazeera region.

However, the participation is not limited to the teams of the center, where the supervisors of the summer courses confirmed that trainees in these courses also can participate, the supervisors of the courses noted that at the end of each session they conduct a test for the trainees, where they are selected to participate in the festival, whether through special teams or through the teams of the center.
