Tomorrow.... PYD holds first conference of Women’s organization

Under the banner of "Free women are a guarantee for a moral and political society," the first conference of women's organization in Democratic Union Party (PYD) will launch on Sunday.

The Preparatory Committee for the Women's Union Conference of the Democratic Union Party explained to ANHA's correspondent that the preparations for the conference was finished and the conference will be held on Sunday in Rmaylan district belonging to Qamishlo city in al-Jazeera region in North Syria

The committee noted that representatives of the Party's offices in North Syria and abroad will attend the conference.

The Committee reported that they had sent invitations to organizations and institutions for women in North Syria and in Syria generally.

The Co-chair of PYD Aisha Hassou told Hawar news agency (ANHA) that the organization of women in the Democratic Union Party will hold its first conference 15 years after the establishment of the party in 2003. The aim of the conference is to form a special reference for women in the party and to organize themselves more broadly so that women have a greater role in building a free and democratic society
