Refugees of al-Arishah camp complained

The displaced people who fled the injustice and violations of IS mercenaries, and living al-Arishah camp south of al-Hasakah canton due to the lack of basic food and household items, the lack of safe drinking water and the dilapidation of the tents in which they live. The residents are critical of the humanitarian organizations in the area because they do not provide sufficient support.

During a visit to ANHA correspondents to the camp, a number of displaced people expressed their discontent about the difficult conditions they are going through.

The citizen Salwa Hassoun said, "No one is giving us enough support, and the organizations are not doing their job. I am a single woman. After my husband lost his life, my three children and I stayed alone. One of them is patient who suffers from a severe lack of vision in his eyes and needs surgery and medication, and nobody cares about us."

For his part, the citizen Munir Hussein, a resident of Deir ez-Zor said that he has a child with special needs, but the organizations in the camp do not move to provide support and assistance to anyone. He noted, "We suffer from the lack of food, drinking water, weak medical staff and medicines inside the camp. The aid which they give us is no longer enough to meet our needs."

The displaced therefore appeal to charitable and humanitarian organizations to carry out their humanitarian duty towards them, and to assist them until their return to their homes."
