2 Asayîş members martyred in Girê Spî 

2 members of Asayîş Forces were martyred in Girê Spî / Tel Abyad canton as a result of an explosive device blasted in their cars. An official in the forces said that the blasting was carried out by sleeper cells belonging to IS mercenaries and Turkey.

A car belonging to Asayîş Forces in Girê Spî in the Euphrates region was blasted on Saturday as an explosive device was planted on the road of al-Zeibeqia-Hemam Turkman villages, and led to the martyrdom of 2 members of the forces.

Faisal Girê Spî, the administrator of Asayîş Forces in Girê Spî assured, "The explosive device blasted on Saturday at 12:00 at noon at a patrol of our forces which was at the head of its work in the protection of the area."

Faisal pointed out that the blasting led to the martyrdom of two members of their forces, in addition to causing material damage.

At the end of his speech, Faisal promised to follow the footsteps of the martyrs and complete their struggle.

It is noteworthy that the 2 members' corpses will be buried on Monday in Martyr Mahmoud Taama Shrine.
