SDF liberated tens of villages, hamlets

The Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) fighters who are participating in Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign continue to advance in al-Hasakah countryside after liberating al-Deshisha town and insuring a part of the Syrian-Iraqi borders in addition to liberating the entire villages of al-Hasakah countryside from IS mercenaries.

Over the past two days, the SDF's fighters have liberated dozens of villages, hamlets and many families who were used as human shields by IS mercenaries in the southern of al-Deshisha town near the Syrian-Iraqi border.

IS mercenaries control a desert area in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor with an area of more than 100 km along the Syrian-Iraqi border.

SDF fighters are trying to insure the Syrian-Iraqi borders and liberate this desert area from IS mercenaries, and to link the areas previously liberated in Deir ez-Zor with these areas.

The fighter in SDF Alaa Mohammed al-Jassem said, "Our campaign is continuing until the Syrian-Iraqi borders would be insured. We liberated dozens of villages from the mercenaries."

Alaa Mohammed added, "The aim of our campaign is to save the area from IS terrorism, and wherever terrorists are located, we are there."
