Expanded meeting in Girkê Legê to discuss the latest developments

The meeting was held at the Aram Tîkran Center for Culture and Art in Rmaylan town in the presence of dozens of people from Girkê Legê district, in addition to representatives of civil society organizations and political parties.

The meeting started with a minute of silence and then the administrator of the Democratic Society Movement, Azad Mohiuddin had talked about the political situation in our area in particular and Syria in general.

Mohiuddin talked about the attacks on Rojava and North Syria areas by the Turkish state in particular, and that the Kurdish people and the liberation movement have been attacked at many stages of such attacks, but they managed to overcome them.

And then the discussion and asking questions had been opened to the participants, which were generally concerned about the Turkish threats against Manbij and its attacks against Başûr (south Kurdistan), and the meetings subject for the drafting of a new constitution for Syria.

In his response to the participants' questions, Mohiuddin said that all the Syrian components should participate in preparing a new constitution for the country. He also referred to the achievements made by the components of North Syria during the previous years, and confirmed the continuation of the struggle to protect those gains.
