The British House of Commons announced on Tuesday that Queen Elizabeth II had signed the text passed by the British Parliament last week after the Prime Minister Theresa May handed it over in July 2017, according to France Press Agency.

Royal approval in Britain is considered the last step of the legislative procedures.

The law confirms the official deadline for the departure of Britain from the European Union on March 29, 2019 at 23:00 (local and GMT time; midnight of Brussels time).

By giving up at the last moment last week on the role of the parliament in the exit process, Theresa May won supporting conservative parliamentarians who demand the final word to be on the final agreement with Brussels for the parliament.
