Cooperative societies are expanding experience ,women have largest role

Since the establishment of the communal system,Tirbesipi people have adopted the establishment and development of cooperative societies that have achieved successes at the social, economic and agricultural levels.

There are 16 agricultural associations with 600 members in Tirbe sipi district and Tel-Hamis. These associations produce 17,000 dunums of agricultural land.

After success the associations expand to the villages

After these associations achieved remarkable successes, the villages belonging to Tribesipi district started to apply it .The two farms were established in the district , one for livestock raising in Mazkaft village , 82 members, the second in Qari Maki villages , 11 members, aswell as to sell the chicken in Tribesipi district and contribute with 14 members and 3 workers.

And about these cooperatives the administrator in cooperatives 's house in Tirbesipi district  Mohammed Amin Ramadan said "The main objective of establishing associations is to spread the culture of cooperation and Co-existence among the people of the region and to adopt the people themselves and to eliminate the monopoly of traders."

A remarkable development in returns and non-intervention projects by cooperatives's house .

Mohammed Amin said  "During the past two years, the associations have developed remarkably, although the agricultural associations were affected this year by the scarcity of rainfall compared to last year, which was highly profitable."

And how to support the cooperative projects, said Mohammed Amin "The cooperative house in Tirbe sipi to supports any social project in the form of associations without interfering with the project's decisions because they are trying to create cooperative societies that will support the building of a free society."

Women's contribution and the largest share and future projects under planning

Women in these societies have the largest share and contribution in the district as they are the pioneers in implementing this experiment and sought to develop it.

The women's work in these associations began with the opening of the Anana factory for the manufacture of food. Then the woman went to the agricultural associations. Three agricultural associations were formed in Alia, Sanjak and Tirbe sipi. They cultivated some 6,000 dunums of land and each association contributed 40 women.

The administrator in Women's economy in Tirbesipi district Bahira Ibrahim confirmed that since the beginning of the formation of cooperative societies began to work on the development of these associations to be a source of support for women.

As for plans and future projects for them, Bahira confirmed that they are in the process of preparing bakery in form of a women's association in Halwa village , which is being run by 11 women. In addition to seeking to open a clothing shop in Mashouq town and a vegetable shop in Tel-Marouf town in the form of shares.
