Due to urgent need ... bakery opened in Tel Hamis

Due to the urgent need for bread, the Local Administration and Municipalities Body in al-Jazeera region opened a bakery in Tel Hamis district in Qamişlo canton during a ceremony.

The Local Administration and Municipalities Body in al-Jazeera region opened an automatic bakery to provide bread to the villages of the southern countryside of Tel Hamis, named Tel Hamis Bakery, during a ceremony.

The ceremony started by holding a minute of silence. Then, Joseph Lahdou, the co-chair of the Local Administration and Municipalities Body in al-Jazeera region said, "The terrorist factions have destroyed civilian and service foundations, utilities, water networks, sanitation, electricity and communication."

Then, the mother of the martyr Ahmad al-Abush cut the opening tape for the attendees to enter and take a look at the machineries of the bakery.

The members of the Bakeries Committee in Tel Hamis said that the bakery consumes 10 tons of flour per day, but initially, they will consume one ton of flour, in order to try the machineries for 6 days, and then, they will consume three tons, in other wards; about 1,700 packs of bread a day.

Furthermore, 14 workers were assigned to work for 7 hours per day in the bakery.
