Environment Office activated in al-Karama

In order to preserve the natural and aesthetic splendor of the eastern countryside of al-Raqqa city after it was damaged and destroyed by IS mercenaries, the people's municipality of al-Karama activated the Environment Office in the eastern countryside of al-Raqqa.

The Environment Office of the people's municipality will work in two phases; the first is the campaign of spraying insecticides on the villages of the eastern countryside. In the second phase, the roads and walls marked by IS mercenaries would be painted in addition to planting the trees.

In this context, the administrator in the Environment Office Joud Mahmoud stated to ANHA agency, "We have made plans to advance the work, and we will work on rehabilitating three parks in al-Raqqa eastern countryside."

Joud Mohammed stressed that the aim of the opening of the Environment Office is to preserve the environment and the color of nature, and she asked the people to help to preserve the color of nature and to not tamper with it.
