Turkish occupation targeted maintenance workshop of Water Directorate in Qamişlo

The media office of the Municipalities and Environment Body in al-Jazeera pointed out that the Turkish occupation army targeted on Monday the maintenance workshop of the Water Directorate while it was repairing of the water station in al-Haliliya neighborhood, so the workshop was forced to stop work, noting that there will be a shortage of water distribution until the workshop returns to work in the near future.

This came during a statement issued by the Municipalities and Environment Body in al-Jazeera canton which stated,

"The Turkish borders’ guards fired on the maintenance workshop of the Water Directorate in Qamişlo on Monday, while they were working and repairing the faults in the water station in al-Haliliya neighborhood which led to the suspension of the workshop.

As the station faced an electrical failure in the ground cable and the horizontal pumping group of the old hall, and while the workshop was maintaining, the Turkish borders’ guards shot, and they targeted the crane with several shots.

It must be noted to the residents of Qamişlo that there will be a shortage of water during the next two days until the workshop would resume the work and repair the pump at the station.
