With the start of the school year in 2017-2018, the Kurdish Language Foundation and the Education Authority in the island, in cooperation with the Training Committee in Democratic Society, prepared new curricula to include the first and second stages, ie the first to ninth grade, in addition to the preparation of curricula in Arabic and Syriac.

In Kobany and Afrin, the situation was unlike the island. The curriculum was complete in the mother tongue for all elementary, preparatory and secondary levels. Education at Afrin University was also in the Kurdish mother tongue.

Through universities, the educational stages were completed

The University of Afrin has announced the establishment of the first university in Rouge Afa and northern Syria under the name of the University of Afrin on June 14, 2015 and its potential. The university has several branches and branches and teaches Kurdish language through curricula Prepared by the Committee on Education in the Democratic Society and the Kurdish Language Foundation through specialized educational cadres.
