20 youths from ad-Darbasiyah district related to al-Hasakah have voluntarily joined the Self-Defense Duty Forces as they believe that protecting the country is a duty everybody must undertake.

AL-HASAKAH

Believing in the principle “Serving the country is a duty to everybody”, 20 youths from ad-Darbasiyah district have voluntarily joined the Self-Defense Duty Forces.

They gathered before the recruits’s in the district in preparation to head to the Kibka village in Qamishlo canton to undertake the self-defense duty.

Abdul Halim Issa, one of the youth who joined told ANHA “protecting the homeland is a duty that everybody must undertake, noting that he voluntarily headed to join the forces.”

Mother Samira Abdullah also expressed her joy as her son joined the self-defense duty to protect his land, and hoped that all mothers encourage their children to head and join the self-defense duty.
