People complain of bad roads, municipality waiting permission from general budget

In Girê Sipî, city's streets have a lot of digging and exacerbating traffic, recent torrential rain that has filled the holes with water and increased the suffering of the people. Many cars have been disrupted in the water.

In this context, Citizen Jammah Jawish said that "We hope that People's Municipality will look at the roads, because after the heavy rains in the area, the roads are difficult to cross."

And added "Children cannot walk in the streets because of mud and muddy water accumulated in the roads, and also hinder the functioning of the machineries, most of which are broken down."

The citizens also appealed to the technical committee to build and maintain the roads as soon as possible.

In turn, a member of the technical office of People 's Municipality in Girê Sipî /Tel-Abyed canton Mustafa Bozo, said that “After taking the studies and guidance of the municipal administration, we have developed a mandatory plan for road projects, including the neighborhood of martyr Sadiq, which was included in the project plan and is currently under approval from the general budget of the municipality to approve it by 1 June."

According to the municipality, it has implemented the sewage networks in full and spread out broken stone in the neighborhood, "martyr Sadiq", to be asphalted later.

Regarding the maintenance and repair of the existing roads, Bozo said they will maintain them until the project is approved.
