Arab sheikhs call for cohesion to confront seditions, external schemes

Under the slogan, "With One Hand and Strong Brotherhood to Build a United Syria," the Internal Security Forces in the north of Syria held a meeting with the North Syrian’s clans in Bilsan Hall in Amoda district in Qamişlo canton to explain the latest developments in the area and call for solidarity in addition to standing together against the external schemes that aim at spreading strives among the components of the people in the north of Syria.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Hawar news agency held a meeting with the elders of the Arab clans in the north of Syria who attended the meeting and pointed out that many parties hostile to the unity and solidarity of the peoples of the area, including the Baathist regime as it seeks to spread strife to divide the peoples.

In this context, Manasar al-Saqusi, one of the elders of the Arabic tribes in al-Shadadi area pointed out that the seditions that the regime and some of the mercenary gangs of Turkey and others are trying to spread among the people in the north of Syria will not be heard and that they will increase the solidarity of the people and he said "We, as Arab and Kurdish tribal elders, must join the forces against the external strives created by the Syrian regime and the plan of Russia and Turkey to destabilize the area and to cause conflicts among the components of the area, but we confirm that we will be one hand to thwart these cowardly attacks.”

Sheikh Khalid, one of the Arab tribes’ elders in al-Jazeera region said, "The elders and sheikhs of the area have to analyze the events that are taking place in the area well to avoid falling into the schemes that are hostile to the unity and stability of the North Syrian, and therefore, the tribal sheikhs must unite with each other to confront the external and internal conspiracies."

On the claim of some external sides, especially Russia that stated that the Syria's Democratic Forces impose their language and culture by force on the components in the north of Syria, al-Asiri said, "These false allegations aimed at dispersing the Syrian people through the publication of the propaganda that says that in the areas which are under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Kurdish language is compulsory, and we as people of this area know the truth well and have not seen such claims, but on the contrary, our areas are in a democratic state so that every people have the right to learn and teach in their mother tongue and there are three official languages ​​in al-Jazeera region according to the peoples living there; Arabic and Kurdish and Syriac.

While Mohammed Jassem, one of the elders of the Arab clans in Manbij area called in his speech to the solidarity among the people to confront the Turkish occupation of the Syrian territories, especially Afrin which is subjected to genocide and systematic demographic change, and said, "Today, Afrin canton witnesses cases of looting, theft, rape and murder by the army of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the view of the world that stays silent about them.
