Girê Sipî celebrated Kurdish language Day

On the occasion of the Kurdish Language Day which is on the 15th of May, Ahmed Yassin Primary School celebrated with the presence of the teachers in the teaching staff and the Education Committee, the co-chair of the Euphrates region Hamdan al-Abed, in addition to dozens of administrators and members of civil institutions and the canton's people.

During the ceremony, the teachers wore the Kurdish uniform.

The ceremony began with holding a minute of silence. Then, the director of Ahmed Yassin School, Newres al-Baher spoke about the role of the teachers in promoting the educational reality and building a conscious generation.

In her turn, the teacher Badia Ali congratulated the Kurdish Language Day to all the teachers in Girê Sipî canton and emphasized that the teachers have a great role in educating and training the students because the school is the place that determines the future of the individual.

After that, the students presented singing, dancing, poetry and theatrical performances which express the importance of education.
