Kobanî people bid farewell martyr Hemodi's corpse

Hundreds of the people from Kobanî canton bid farewell the martyr Hemodi's corpse, a fighter in Manbij Military Council who was martyred while performing his military duty in Manbij city to his last resting place in Martyr Dijla Cemetery in south of Kobanî .

Hundreds of people from Kobanî gathered in front of the Martyr Dijla Cemetery south of Kobanî to receive the corpse of the martyr Hemodi Kobanî whose real name is Hemodi Baker.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration’s bodies and members, the members of the civil institutions, the representatives of the Democratic Society Movement, the Internal Security Forces of Manbij, the People and Women's Protection Units and hundreds of Kobanî and Manbij residents attended the funeral.

The funeral began with holding a minute of silence in conjunction with performing a military parade by the People and Women Protection Units.

Speeches delivered on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council by Suleiman Suleiman and on behalf of Manbij Military Council by the commander Ylmaz Manbij. The speeches offered condolences to the martyr's family and pledged to follow the path of the martyrs to achieve their goals and preserve the gains achieved in Rojava and North Syria.

Then, the martyr's corpse was buried amid chanting the slogan which glorify the martyrs.
