Hussein in his new life... face symptoms he suffered

Husain Najem faces the symptoms of IS mercenaries bombing that called for a car bomb near their home while he was attending the school which was opened during the liberation of the city by Syrian Democratic Forces.

The child Husain Najem suffered psychological disorder, fear and difficulty in speech and inactivity, as a result of the bombing of IS mercenaries of a car bomb near his home before leaving al-Raqqa, and the psychological conditions and the symptoms which have been associated with that have been continuing so far.

In the areas occupied in Syria, IS mercenaries’ acts had a negative impact on children, they beheaded, amputated organs of bodies, tortured people before the eyes of children, they also prevented children from attending school and forced them to take courses in which to disseminate their thoughts.

Among the children who have suffered from psychological disorder, fear, lethargy and difficulty in speech is the 10-year-old Hussein.

This happened when IS mercenaries detonated a car bomb near Husein's house before the liberation of al-Raqqa, Hussein was then in the bathroom, parts of it were thrown over him, Husein's father took him out of the rubble, He was alive, but he had symptoms so far, Husein is now horrified to hear any sound coming near him.

A new life for Husein

Hussein is now challenging his symptoms, he has joined Jawad Anzour Primary School, Hussein is studying second grade at the time he should have been in fourth grade, because he was deprived of studying during the ISIS occupation.

The school and the help of his companions and teachers to Hussein helped him get out of his psychological state partly.

In this context, Hussein said that after his father saved him from under the wreckage, he saw people whose bodies had been torn apart and said the bombing destroyed the area.

His teacher at school "Manal al-Ali has exposed to a situation passed with her and with Husain, "I asked the pupils in the weekly lesson to draw what they thought about, I was surprised by what Hussein had written in his book from the effects of destruction and war, amputated organs and painted a picture of a small bath".

Manal said she asked him why he had painted the bathroom and he said, "I want to hide inside so I do not see all this destruction."
