Their house destroyed, now stay in a tent, they ask for help

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) liberated al-Raqqa city on 20 October last year, and people returned to the city after removing the mines in full.

Among the families who returned was the family of Mohammed al-Mahali, who came to see his house destroyed that had taken place in the area.

Mohammed and his eight-member family were forced to make a tent made of burlap and straw bags, but the tent was not sufficient to protect them from the rains of recent days.

Mohammed was unable to repair his home due to his poor financial condition and asthma. Mohammed's sons collect the remains of plastic and aluminum to sell and secure their daily livelihood.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed Mohammed al-Mahali said my home was destroyed by war and now we are living in this tent and consider it a decent country. I am not burdened with anyone and I chose this land because I only want to live in my homeland."

He also appealed to the humanitarian organizations to help him and look at his home for restoration.
