Even martyrs’ shrines do not escape Turkish aggression

The Martyr Sido shrine, located in Kafer Safra village witnessed vandalism of martyrs' shrines by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, which made the components of the region infuriated.

The city's Muslims and Christians expressed their categorical rejection of the actions of the Turkish occupation army.

Member of the Catholic Synod Joseph Qablan said Ottomans have history is full by genocide and killing and added " Not long ago Gamal Pasha the murderer killed and executed the intellectuals and politicians in Marja, and today they are destroying civilizations and uprooting the graves of civilians and martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the freedom of the Syrian people."

Qablan pointed out that those who do so have no religion and do not rely on God. They claim to be muslims, but only wear a cloak of religion. What is the guilt of Afrin people to be killed and subjected to massacres?

Sheikh Yahya Mahmoud said that the history of the Turkish state is full of massacres against defenseless civilians. "This is what we are witnessing now in Afrin. The massacres and the occupation continue till now, and these massacres are indicative of the deep hatred that it afflicts all peoples that do not belong to it".

Mahmoud continued saying "When they invaded the country and settled there for 4 centuries they carried out the operations of Turkification and destruction, and the transfer of industries and crafts to Istanbul in that era, and in the Syrian crisis, they have transferred all factories’ machines from Aleppo and taken to Turkey."

He noted that the morals of Turkey's gangs revolve around vandalism, looting and sabotaging property and kidnapping people, and continued “The evidence of this is what we are seeing now in Afrin, where they completely destroyed the shrine of Martyr Sido. All religions reject the assault on the dead and the shrines of the martyrs. The Turkish government is devoid of humanity.”

For his part, the citizen of the Christian religion Fathullah Abdul Karim denounced of violations of the Ottoman Turkish state against the people of Afrin and their graves, and said, "We saw the massacres of the occupation by the Turkish occupation against the Kurdish people in Afrin, and being a Christian, I denounce the brutality of the Turkish occupation army against our siblings in Afrin and worship places and historical antiquities ".

Abdul Karim said that Erdogan is not afraid of God; slaughtering children and women through his gangs and destroying churches, mosques and graves. "And there will come a day that God will hold him accountable for his actions."
