Muhi al-Din Garib, is an Armenian whose father fled from Turkey during the massacre committed by Turkish state against Armenian people at the beginning of the past century, he headed towards Syria and settled in Rajo area in Haj Khalil village, where a Kurdish family had adopted him, he was 12 years old.

Today, more than 100 years later, he and his children were again forced to flee their homes this time also by the descendants of Ottoman Empire.

Garib says that Turkish state has displaced thousands of Armenians from areas around the world after the massacre committed against them, and against the Kurdish people as well. "These massacres have never been witnessed by human history."

Turkey is reviving its history

Muhi al-Din Garib noted that Turkish state had sought to exterminate the Armenians and exterminate them completely. "Today Turkish state is re-establishing its history again through the occupation of Afrin and the massacres against people and the displacement of our lands again."

He stressed that they will not surrender to the attacks of Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries will not return to Afrin only under the flag of People and Women Protection Units.

For her part, the young Diana Garib said that their grandfather was recounting to them his observations at that time about the massacre and the brutal practices committed by Ottoman Empire against them and the suffering of Armenian people, and added, "Turkey continues its history of bloodshed and massacres, as we witnessed in Afrin massacre which killed hundreds of civilians," she said. "

In the same context, the citizen Ali Garib has condemned the Armenian massacre, and said that the aggression on Afrin aims to repeat the same massacre, and is committing the massacre against Kurds for the same reasons they have committed formerly against Armenians.

"After the attacks of Turkish occupation army on Afrin, we were forced to flee our land, even though we were living in peace and enjoyed all our rights," said Jamil Garib, and we as Armenians, will resist all the policies of the Turkish state.
