Wide campaign vaccine against measles

In conjunction with the spread of measles in al- Raqqa city and to meet the demands of the returning parents, the Health Committee of al-Raqqa Civil Council launched the campaign to fight measles and polio.

The Health Committee of al-Raqqa Civil Council launched the campaign to fight measles and polio from 22 April and provided the necessary medication for this disease.
After the opening of the health center in Saif al-Dawla of al-Raqqa Civil Council launched the campaign to fight measles and polio that recently spread in al-Raqqa due to polluted water and the result of the wars that were inside the city and the lack of medicines.

The campaign was launched throughout the city and its countryside by a permanent team in Saif al-Dawla health center and mobile teams within the city's neighborhoods and villages. The vaccine campaign includes measles, acupuncture and oral paralysis. The vaccine is oral paralysis from one day to 5 years and a 2monthes- up to 2 years and measles vaccine from 7 months to 5 years.

The campaign will consist of mobile teams, within the city and its villages and teams within the health centers. The campaign will run from 22 April until 30 April, after which a campaign will be launched for children aged five to 12 years.
