Erdogan's threats, attacks not new, Syrian people realized freedom

Hawar news agency ANHA met with the spokesperson of Clans Settlement Council, Sheikh Ahmed al-Seleh, in connection with the Turkish occupation of Afrin and the Council formed by Turkish Intelligence in cooperation with some mercenaries.

Afrin is Syrian land and still Syrian

Al-Seleh noted that the people and fighters in Afrin stood in the face of the second NATO army for two full months and resisted the most powerful weapons even the internationally banned amid international shameful silence, he added: "Resistance of the Age continues until today and until this moment Afrin is steadfast in the face of Turkish occupation"

"Afrin, small in size, has thousands of Syrian people displaced as a result of conflicts and wars," al-Seleh said.

Al-Seleh confirmed in his speech that Afrin is an integral part of Syrian territory and Syria will remain.

As for the threats of Turkish occupation state to attack many areas in North Syria, including Manbij, al-Seleh said: "Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Erdogan threatens to occupy all areas of North Syria, so he sent mercenary groups and supported them with money and weapons, but the Syrian Democratic Forces were in the lookout and liberated the people from injustice practiced against them, after the failure of these groups, Turkish occupation state intervened in Syrian affairs and began to occupy Afrin, so these attacks and threats are not new.

Al-Seleh pointed out that the people of North Syria and after their salvation from IS mercenaries, realized the meaning of freedom and will not accept the occupation of a new Ottoman Syria.

We will not accept that Afrin be governed under Turkish flag

As for the council, which was formed in Gaziantep by conspiracy of Turkish intelligence and some mercenaries, al-Seleh pointed out that those who allowed an occupying state to cut off parts of another country and accept the partition of Syria were mercenaries who sold their consciences.

"As the people of North Syria, we will not accept that Afrin will be governed under the Turkish flag, and any other flag as we are people who understands the meaning of democracy and the brotherhood of peoples," al-Seleh said.
