Al-Tabqa youth considered 1st intellectual course as turning point in their lives"

The Martyr Khalid Aliwi Academy in al-Tabqa ended the 1st course for al-Tabqa's youths, the course was named the Martyr Alan Kobanî after training lasted for nearly a month in a ceremony. A number of civil and social members in addition to the joiners’ families attended.

During the month, 21-member Young men of al-Tabqa Youth Council received training course that included intellectual and educational lessons to help them to construct a generation that would follow the nation's democratic path.

The celebration which coincided with the anniversary of the martyrdom of the fighter Aziz Arab started by holding a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs' souls.

After holding a minute of silence, the co-chair of Executive Council of al-Tabqa area Shiar Mohammed who commemorated the martyr Aziz Arab stressed the importance of youth in constructing the societies, and the need to train young people to contribute to the promotion of community awareness and society's leadership.

Mohammed al-Sagheer, one of the members who received the training said, "This course was a new step in which we realized the true concept of the democratic nation by receiving intellectual lessons and was a turning point in our lives which moved us from ignorance to scientific, moral and political development."
